Children at Greenslopes?
We see children of all ages in our rooms at Greenslopes Hospital. Children above the age of 12 can be treated at Greenslopes. Younger children are treated by Dr Wallwork at the Mater Children’s Private Hospital.

Are my medical records kept private and confidential?
Your medical file is handled with the utmost respect for your privacy. Our staff are bound by strict confidentiality requirements as a condition of employment regarding your medical records.  Dr Wallwork abides strictly by the Privacy Act.

We will not release the contents of your medical file without your consent.

Do I need a referral to make an appointment?
Yes, it is very important to have a referral from you doctor, as it tells Dr Wallwork what you have been sent for and may give extra important information such as your illnesses or medications. It is also a requirement from Medicare that you have a current referral from either a General Practitioner or Specialist for an appointment. This is so that you can obtain a Medicare rebate on your consultation fee.

What should I bring to my consultation?

• Referral from you doctor
• Any X-Ray’s, Pathology Results, Hearing Tests or other relevant documents
• Your Medicare Card, Veterans Affairs Card, Health Fund Card
• A list of current medications and any known allergies
