Dr Ben Wallwork
Dr Wallwork is a Queensland trained Ear, Nose and Throat/Head and Neck Surgeon. He graduated from the University of Queensland with an Honours degree in Medicine in 1997. He underwent basic surgical and advanced ENT surgical training in Brisbane and other regional hospitals in Queensland and obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2005.
In 2006-2007 Ben lived in the United Kingdom in order to obtain further post-fellowship training in London. During this period he worked at the Great Ormond St Hospital for Children and at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. At these hospitals he pursued his interest in Head and Neck and Thyroid cancer as a member of the South-East London Head and Neck Cancer Service and also gained additional experience and training in rhinoplasty and sinus surgery.
Dr Wallwork is trained in all areas of adult and paediatric ENT surgery. He does however have the following subspecialty interests:
Chronic Sinusitis
Rhinoplasty (re-shaping the nose)
Head and Neck and Thyroid Cancer
During his training, Ben completed a PhD investigating the medical management of chronic sinusitis. He has ongoing research interests in rhinology and head and neck cancer and is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland.

Melissa comes to Greenslopes ENT from an Anaesthetic & Pain Medicine Specialist Practice in South Brisbane, where she completed a Certificate III in Business Administration. In 2008 she completed a Diploma in Practice Management with the AMAQ (Australian Medical Association Queensland) and UNE Partnerships.
